The device itself is great. Looks great on our patio. Installation is super easy (although you’ll need a couple buddies to move it off the pallet and to where you install). I bought this cold plunge to help with breathing exercises, accelerate metabolism and cut back inflammation and soreness from jiu jitsu, running, and lifting. I’ve also found it provides for improved mental clarity.

I am so happy with this purchase and with this company. After many months of research and waiting for my cold stoic to be built and delivered, it was all worth it. I also got the temperature down to 32 degrees which was much lower than the standard lowest setting for the chiller. I have been doing 35 degrees for 6 minutes, 5 days a week and I feel amazing! we love our tub. we live in florida and took a trip to renu once while out in california and bought it on the spot. my husband is an athlete and loves to do sauna and cold and we had been eyeing this tub for a long time. steve made sure it got to us in a timely fashion. we had an issue setting it up because a piece had cracked in shipment (shipper’s fault, not renu) but steve and his team found someone in florida to come over and set it up for us once the new part arrived. definitely recommend this company and appreciate their customer service.

I've had my Cold Stoic Classic a little over 2 months now. As far as logistics, the delivery was well communicated and went smoothly. To move the unit from the pallet to the house, I hired a moving company and the guys literally walked the unit from the garage to the basement. So far, so good. In setup, I ran into a problem with one of the valves, but the technical staff helped me easily straighten that out and, in no time, I was set to go.
I immediately knew I loved it from the appearance side (I got the blue color with the redwood deck) but was still very concerned about actually using it. You see, I HATE getting in cold water and if I couldn't be consistent with cold showers, what made me think I'd do better with this unit? Well, from the first plunge, I immediately knew this was different. The breath deck is amazing! I have done plunges at a spa facility where you just get in a tub, but being able to breathe and center myself on the deck was a game-changer (as other reviewers have said). Also, I didn't have to force myself to stay in a certain amount of time to get the "full experience" of a plunge like at the spa - I had the freedom to tailor the experience to how I was feeling for that particular plunge and the ability to use it whenever I wanted.
What I've learned is I still dislike (but not hate) getting in cold water, but I know I can do it and after the initial shock, I actually relax. I don't think I'll ever say to myself, "I can't wait to get in the…
