True Wave Full-Spectrum Heaters

The Sanctuary™ uses Clearlight's patented True Wave Carbon/Ceramic heater system. Carbon panels spread heat wide and evenly across a large surface. Ceramic rods deliver concentrated output. Together, they produce peak wavelengths in the therapeutic 6–12 micron range (~9.4 microns) — the wavelength the human body absorbs most efficiently. Two additional 500W full-spectrum heaters on the front wall add near and mid infrared on top of far, giving you the full therapeutic spectrum in one session.

Near-Zero EMF/ELF

Clearlight invented low-EMF infrared. Their True Wave heaters test at under 1 mG at the heater surface and near zero at the seat — compared to 70–100 mG for typical carbon heaters and 20–40 mG for ceramic. The technology is patented, independently tested, and published. Not a marketing claim.

Smartphone App & Digital Control

Set your target temperature and start the preheat from your phone before you arrive. The Clearlight app connects via Bluetooth and gives you full session control. The in-cabin digital panel mirrors every control for sessions without a phone. *Always set the temperature dial to maximum (175°F) — this keeps the infrared heaters running continuously throughout your session.*

12-Color Chromotherapy

Medical-grade chromotherapy lighting built into the cabin. Cycle through 12 colours manually or set a programme. Each colour is associated with different ambient and mood effects. Controllable from both the app and the in-cabin panel.

Handcrafted Wood & Build Quality

Choose eco-certified Mahogany or Basswood. Both are sustainably sourced, untreated on the interior (important for off-gassing and scent), and finished to furniture-grade standard. Infrared vs traditional

Infrared offers a different experience, not a better one, it depends what you're after. Infrared heats your body from the core at lower air temperatures (~120–135°F), so sessions are longer and more comfortable. Traditional saunas heat the room to ~190°F for a more intense, immediate experience. If you've tried a traditional sauna and found the heat unbearable, infrared is worth trying. If you love the intensity of a traditional sauna, we sell those too, we won't steer you wrong.
