Renu Therapy Cold Plunge Tank Water Chiller Extended Warranty (Home Use Only)

 

Upon the purchase of this Extended Warranty for the Renu Therapy Cold Plunge Tank Water Chiller, Renu Therapy will extend the 1-year Water Chiller Warranty provided in the Renu Therapy Cold Plunge Tank Limited Warranty (Home Use Only) by an additional 4 years. This Extended Warranty will cover the chiller after the original warranty has expired, under the same terms and conditions as the original warranty. The total coverage under both the Renu Therapy Cold Plunge Tank Limited Warranty and this extended warranty will not exceed 5 years from the date of delivery.

 

Important Notes

  • This Extended Warranty is only valid with proof of purchase of the Water Chiller Extended Warranty and must be purchased in the correct size for the applicable model HERE.
  • The Extended Warranty must be for the model you own, we will not honor the warranty if purchased incorrectly. 
  • This extended warranty must be purchased within 364 days of delivery of the associated Cold Plunge Tank to be valid.

Owner’s Responsibility

The owner is responsible for performing required maintenance on the chiller as outlined in the manufacturer's chiller operation manual (included with the unit). Maintenance includes the thorough cleaning of the chiller unit and applicable filters.

 

How to Obtain Warranty Service

For service within the first year of the original warranty (under the “Renu Therapy Cold Plunge Tank Limited Warranty - Home Use Only”), please contact us at help@renutherapy.com. Ensure you provide the following:

  • Name of the purchaser
  • Proof of purchase
  • Dated receipt
  • Item purchased
  • Details of failure

 

Claims should be submitted within the warranty period.

For service after the expiration of the 1-year Water Chiller warranty but within the 4-year extended warranty period, please contact us at help@renutherapy.com with the information above.

Renu Therapy technicians will handle most warranty issues via email or phone. If a repair is necessary, Renu Therapy will cover the part(s), but the customer is responsible for any shipping-related costs. In the event of a replacement chiller, Renu Therapy may require the defective unit to be returned, and will cover shipping costs for the return of the faulty unit.

The time required for a chiller replacement is approximately 30 minutes. The customer is responsible for completing most chiller replacements. If the customer is unable to perform the replacement, any labor costs associated with this will be the customer’s responsibility.

Renu Therapy will continue to provide reasonable phone support for issues occurring after the warranty period, but the customer will be fully responsible for any associated costs, including parts, labor, and shipping.

 

Warranty Service Performance

Renu Therapy reserves the right to determine whether repair or replacement of a covered part is necessary. Any repaired or replaced components will be covered under the remainder of the original warranty period. If service is required by an approved general service provider, the customer will be responsible for all associated costs.

 

Warranty Limitations & Exclusions

  • This Water Chiller Extended Warranty only covers the water chiller and does not cover items purchased separately, such as oil and dirt buoys, sanitizer sticks, Renu Total Protective Covers, or any other accessories.
  • This warranty must be purchased within 364 days of the delivery of the associated Cold Plunge Tank to be valid.
  • The warranty will be void if Renu Therapy or a designated representative determines the product has been altered, abused, neglected, or mistreated in any way, or used for purposes other than intended.
  • The customer is responsible for regular maintenance of the chiller. Failure to provide proper maintenance, including water chemistry/balance, or the use of improper or harsh cleaning agents will void the warranty.
  • The warranty will also be void if non-genuine replacement parts or accessories are used.
  • This warranty is valid for in-home and residential use only within the contiguous United States (48 U.S. States but excluding U.S. territories). Commercial use of the product will void this warranty.
  • All repairs must be performed by an approved agent of Renu Therapy. Repairs performed by unauthorized individuals are not covered under this warranty.
  • The tub owner assumes full responsibility and liability for repairs provided by non-approved agents.

Liability Disclaimer

Renu Therapy's liability under this warranty is limited to the original purchase value of the water chiller. Renu Therapy is not responsible for any incidental damages, including but not limited to freight damage, or any consequential damages. Renu Therapy is not liable for any injury, loss, or other damages arising from defects covered under this warranty, including loss of use of the unit, even if Renu Therapy was made aware of potential damages prior to their occurrence.

This Water Chiller Extended Warranty is the exclusive warranty provided by Renu Therapy and supersedes any prior, contrary, or additional representations regarding the water chiller. All other warranties, express or implied, including warranties of merchantability or fitness for a particular purpose, are disclaimed to the extent permitted by law. In the event that the warranty fails to fulfill its essential purposes, Renu Therapy’s liability will be limited to the duration of the warranty periods set forth above.
