Iâm very pleased with this tankâits size, strength, and especially how quietly it operates make it a standout addition if youâre looking to upgrade your wellness routine. My previous cold plunge was very noisy, but this one is a major improvement. Ordering was easy, and the tank arrived on time as promised. The tank is quite large, so itâs best to have a few people help when moving it into place.
A very important tip for future owners: Before plugging in your Aurelius tank, double-check that the internal pump in the mechanics bay (near the filter) is turned off and the valve is closed. This pump is meant only for draining the tank. Mine arrived with the pump on and the valve open, which made it noisy and caused leakage when I first powered it up. Turning the pump off and closing the valve solved the problem immediately, but it took a little while to figure out. Clearer instructions or a setup video from Renu would make this process even easier for new users.
Once set up correctly, the tank runs smoothly, stays cold, and offers plenty of space. Renuâs customer service has also been excellentâthey responded promptly and ensured I was happy with the setup. For best support, I recommend scheduling your delivery any day but Friday, as Renu is closed on weekendsâthis way, assistance is available if needed.

I never leave reviews but this product deserves one. My friend has a cold stoic that I started using it about a year ago. I finally decided to get my own renu after using hers multiple times a week and doing a ton of research. Here are a few reasons why I went with the Aurelius.
- I am 6.2, 230 and didnât like crossing my legs in the cold stoic I was looking for a larger tank. Although I did like sitting upright, I was willing to compromise for more space. I get a similar experience in this tub.
- I was initially worried the Aurelius wouldnât be big enough, boy was I wrong. I very comfortably fit with room to spare itâs a huge tank.
- my friend complained about how difficult it was to drain her cold stoic, with the Aurelius itâs a breeze to change the water.
- I typically plunge at 6am and the light is awesome feature in my backyard.
- I was worried about lead time, the team was right on target, I got my renu in 6 weeks. Forewarning the thing weighs a ton make sure you have a group of people to help get it to itâs location.
- I live in Florida and this thing is super efficient it gets water cold and keeps it there.
- filter changes are a breeze, highly recommend the annual package.
- user interface has a solid UX, very intuitive. I had it up and running in minutes.
- the included cover is awesome although I wish there was a cover that just went over the actual tub vs the whole thing, itâs a shame to keep the breath deck covered with such beautiful wood.

We are very much enjoying our cold plunge. It was easy to set up and is working great. I am sleeping well after a week of routine plunging. Once we got through the challenges of delivery, the experience was amazing! The staff were helpful with providing information on how to unhook the chiller to move it up the stairs and it fits nicely in the space. It is very ergonomic and allows to recline for full immersion. I definitely recommend this tank.
