Recommended Regimens for Beginners
- Cold Therapy Only: Submerge body up to armpits for 2-3 minutes at 40-50F. If you are new, start with a higher temperature. Finish the cold session by dunking your head under the water before exiting the cold tank.
- Sauna Only: 6-10 minutes at 175F or comfortably higher. If you are a beginner, start with a shorter duration sauna session first.
- Contrast Therapy: Start with the Sauna session at 175F (or comfortably higher). Then do cold exposure 40-50F. Repeat for 1-2 cycles. Always finish with the cold exposure session.
